We request a PSPO be bought into immediate effect, in Feltham Arena Parklands, including Feltham Park, (otherwise called Feltham Parks by Hounslow Borough Council).

Lately, the area has gained a reputation of being a Drinking & Drug Dealing venue, & a cut through/race track for non-Authorised motorised vehicles. This has led to a raise in complaints to the local Residents Association, on Social Media, & to the Police. Action NEEDS to be taken. The best way to deal with it is to instigate a PSPO. The current Controlled Drinking Zone is unacceptable, & unfit for purpose in the Parklands. What a PSPO means is:

Signage would be placed around the area, to show the change in Park Status.

It would allow Officers to deal with behaviour & situations, which are likely to result in Anti-Social behaviour, in a pre-emptive manner. It would mean that there would be a: 1) No drinking Alcohol within the Park Boundaries. 2) No Mechanically Propelled Vehicles within the Park Boundaries, except by Authorised Staff. 3) The power to disperse groups of 2 or more persons present in the Park, if the Officer suspects that the behaviour of the person in the locality, has contributed, or is likely to contribute to: a) Members of the Public in the locality being harassed, alarmed, or distressed, or b) The occurrence in the locality of a crime or disorder This Petition, stands as a direct request, for the Council to listen to the Locals, of whom they are representing, & instigate a PSPO, immediately
