More details from petition creator

Consultation on Boston Manor Park development as a result of the lottery is now 2-3 years old. Local residents and park visitors don't feel they have been consulted and are very upset about the scale of the clearance work carried out which they feel is detrimental to habitats & biodiversity and pollution impacts from the M4/A4/Heathrow. They also believe tree removal on this scale is wrong in a climate crisis, with new tree planting activities only providing the equivalent benefits in 10-20 years time. Local residents & park visitors would like: an audit of the trees removed and damage done; restoration of some scrub areas with consideration on how to restore the damage caused by lost trees; improved communications - what's going on and when; and a meaningful role for park visitors & local residents in future decisions on the park ecology and facilities
