More details from petition creator

The current Permitted Development Rights for the building of outhouses is very unfair and does not take into consideration negative affects to neighbouring properties. Also the right to use these outhouses as residential units is ambiguous and open to abuse. They cause untold damage to the environment and result in valuable garden space being lost to future generations. Feltham area has many family homes with gardens and these should be considered an asset at a time when open space in London is at a premium. We ask that these rights are taken away so that anyone wanting to build an outhouse in thier garden has to seek planning permission. This would make the process fair to everyone as neighbours would have to be consulted and have their views taken into consideration and the environmental impact could be evaluated.
