More details from petition creator

We the undersigned petition Hounslow Council to: introduce warning signs to inform dog owners of public discontent with dog mess on the pavements, alleyways and parks used by public making them more aware of other people’s needs, as it was outlined in the BBC report: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22853270. The roads with dog’s poo are Raleigh Road, Westmacott Drive, Guildford Avenue, Rochester Avenue, Chertsey Road and Bedfont Lane. We also petition the Council to introduce bins designated to dog’s mess in alleyways behind Westmacott Drive, Guildford Avenue and Rochester Avenue and Southcote Avenue used by dog walkers Evidence that public paths and roads are littered with dogs’ mess including around primary schools. The mess gets stood on and smeared over the pavement. This can get brought into homes on the sole of the shoes potentially causing infection as it is known that dogs’ faeces contain parasites". http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-42124303 “Heol-y-Cyw club secretary John Powson said one player had to have an operation after getting an infection following a match, thought to be caused by dog mess left on the grounds”. We love dogs but also want to keep the environment safe and tidy for everyone.
